Sally Jo AI ("we," "us," "our") provides AI-powered customer service agents that operate across voice, chat, SMS, and email channels. Our proprietary technology enables businesses ("clients") to deploy intelligent, always-on agents trained specifically on their business operations, services, and policies.
By using our platform or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Sally Jo AI services only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Use agents for illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities
Attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with our systems
Use agents to harass, threaten, or harm any person
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or extract our proprietary technology
Resell or redistribute access to our platform without written authorization
Upload training content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
Use agents to collect sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers, credit card numbers) outside of secure, approved integrations
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, with or without notice.
3. Data Privacy & Security
We take data privacy seriously. Our platform enforces strict data isolation between clients — no client can access another client's data, conversations, or training materials under any circumstances.
Conversations are logged. All interactions between your agent and your customers are recorded and stored for quality assurance, training improvement, and your review via the client dashboard.
Client data is yours. The training content, business information, and customer interaction data you provide remains your property.
We do not sell your data. We will never sell, share, or monetize your data or your customers' data to third parties.
Retention. Conversation logs are retained for the duration of your active subscription. Upon account cancellation, data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. You may request an export of your data at any time.
4. Billing & Subscription Terms
Billing cycle. Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your sign-up date, unless you have selected an annual plan.
Month-to-month. All monthly plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts required.
Cancel anytime. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
No refunds for partial months. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will retain access to your agent and dashboard through the end of your current paid period.
Overages. If your usage exceeds your plan's included limits, you will be charged overage fees as outlined in your plan details. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before overages are incurred.
Price changes. We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
5. Intellectual Property
Our platform. Sally Jo AI, including all software, models, algorithms, interfaces, designs, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Sally Jo LLC. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of our technology.
Your data. You retain full ownership of all training content, business data, and customer interaction data you provide to the platform.
Agent branding. Your agent's custom name, personality, and brand identity are yours. We will not reuse your customized agent configuration for other clients.
Feedback. Any suggestions or feedback you provide about our platform may be used by us to improve our services without obligation to you.
6. Service Availability & Warranties
We strive to maintain high availability for all services. However, Sally Jo AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. While our agents are designed to provide accurate, helpful responses based on your training data, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any agent response.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sally Jo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You acknowledge that AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate and agree that Sally Jo LLC is not liable for actions taken based on agent responses.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sally Jo LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active clients via email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Illinois.
